Frequently Asked Questions

Why is my pump not priming?

There are several reasons why a pump won’t prime including faulty seals, a suction air leak, an insufficient water level or a clogged impeller. Check all these items and if you can’t find the problem contact us to schedule a service call.

Why is the water level in my pool so high?

If your water level is to high we recommend checking your auto leveler. If it is faulty then replace it. If you need help replacing it or if you’ve already replaced it and the problem persists we recommend contacting us to schedule a service call.

I don’t have an auto leveler in my pool. Can you maintain it when you’re here servicing my pool every week?

For liability reasons we do not maintain the water level in your pool. We ask that you maintain a proper water level to ensure your pool functions properly at all times. If it is too much work for you to maintain we can install a Deck Leveler for around $150-$175.

Can you remove my pool cover when you service our pool?

We do not remove pool covers or any other items from your pool. We ask that you ensure all toys, rafts and covers be removed from your pool to allow us to fully clean and sanitize your pool.

Do you still clean our pool when it storms?

In inclement weather we do still service your pool. However, for our health and safety we only empty baskets and ensure there is a proper chemical balance in your pool. We will then resume regular service to your pool on your next scheduled service date.

Do you clean our pool on holidays?

We do not service pools on holidays. In addition we do not service pools during Thanksgiving and Christmas weeks. We are on call 365 days a year for emergencies.

I have a problem with my pool. Can you come and tell me what’s wrong?

We are available 24/7 to respond to service calls. We charge $95 for a service call ($80 for our weekly service customers).

What if I have a problem with my pool and you’ve already serviced my pool this week?

Not a problem! We’re available 24/7 to respond to emergencies. Please keep in mind we charge $80 for a service call to our weekly service customers so if it’s not an emergency we recommend waiting for your next service day to remedy the problem.

I forgot to unlock my gate for my weekly service today. Can you come back tomorrow and clean my pool?

Our technicians are extremely busy and we keep a tight schedule to ensure all our customers receive great service. If we cannot access your pool on your regular service day we cannot reschedule you for another day that week. However, we are available for an additional service call if it’s an emergency and can’t wait till the following week.

How do I know if you came to service my pool this week?

Inside the time clock for your pool pump we’ve installed a time card. Each week we write in the date and time we were there to service your pool. We ask that you check the time card if you have any questions as to when we last serviced your pool prior to contacting us.

How do I know if my pool chemistry is in a desirable range?

If you’re a pool cleaning service customer we keep accurate chemical readings of your pool on file. We check chlorine, pH and Alkalinity every time we service your pool. We also test for phosphates, calcium hardness, cyunaric acid, total dissolved solids and the salt level in your pool as needed. If you ever have a question that relates to your pool’s chemistry please contact us by phone or email.
